George Fassett has over 20 years of leadership experience building businesses in the local Fort Worth, Texas community centered on Computers and Information Technology. Fassett is an accomplished entrepreneur whose vision led to growth in a virtually untapped market providing computer and network services to the small and medium sized businesses. His achievements have been noted in the Fort Worth Business Press, Dallas Business Journal, as well as other business media. His approach to providing IT services for a flat budget rate and focus on quality has become a model in the industry. Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures Fassett gained experience in retail and electronics working through the ranks of RadioShack, from a part time sales person, to the rare RadioShack title of Computer Specialist, to Assistant Manager, and Store Manager. Fassett then went on to work as a student in the IT center at his undergraduate school, Texas Christian University (TCU), which not only gave him experience with enterprise level IT environments, but also exposed him to many of the people that either became his customers or referred others to him. Fassett was born in Watertown, NY and graduated from Sackets Harbor Central High School, in a neighboring town, in 1992. In 1998 Fassett completed his undergraduate degree at TCU majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Economics. In 2007 Fassett graduated from TCU again with his master’s degree in business administration after completing two years of full time study in the Executive MBA program. In 1999 Fassett filed a provisional patent on a computer algorithm and design for distinctly identifying products, services, or any type of information physically or electronically. In 2003 Fassett became a U.S. Patent Holder. Fassett is involved with many charitable entities in the local Fort Worth community, in particular, Samaritan House, a place where people diagnosed with HIV and AIDS can rebuild and live. Fassett also sat as Chairman of the Downtown YMCA board on a two-year term running through 2011. He currently serves on the TCU College of Science & Engineering Executive Advisory Board. Fassett remains focused on his Computer IT Management business, THUMBTECHS CORPORATION established in 1995 where he holds the title CEO and President for the past 20+ years.
Vice President
Before joining THUMBTECHS in 2004, Bob spent 18 years with IBM, managing and directing international sales for one of IBM's largest global accounts. His years of experience leading teams at both IBM and in the military as Captain in the Air Force made Bob a perfect fit for our company. Serving as Vice President of THUMBTECHS, Bob's main duties include account management and sales focus while directly supporting all facets of the business operation under the direction of CEO & President George Fassett.
Director of Sales
A Univeristy of Alabama graduate, Mike Campbell has been involved in building, managing and selling a number of Technology Partner programs and businesses for over 28 years. His primary focus has been in the software, services, consulting and outsourcing verticals. He has earned a long-standing reputation as an experienced Management Solution Provider within the Enterprise, SMB and Non-Profit verticals. He joined THUMBTECHS in 2009 and has been an intregral part of developing our Sales Team.
Technical Operations Manager
Tim joined the Thumbtechs team in early 2013. With over 20 years in customer service he was a perfect fit for our Technical Operations Manager. Tim is over day to day operations of all our clients. He works directly with our clients and techs, from scheduling, coordinating, and directing his team on a daily basis. If you call Thumbtechs Operation department it is Tim’s deep and sultry voice that will answer the phone.
Director of Corporate Communications
Emily Wilkins, an Omaha native and NW Missouri State University graduate, joined our team in 2011. As Director of Corporate Communications, Emily’s responsibilities are in building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers of our industry to help maximize the benefits for our clients. Emily also overlooks our Microsoft cloud opportunities, educating and informing businesses of the mobility and security through Office 365.
Creative/Marketing Director
Diana Combs-Selman, a TCU alum, has been with THUMBTECHS since 2013. As the Creative/Marketing Director, Diana manages and coordinates all creative projects and marketing initiatives. Part of her duties include maintaining the THUMBTECHS brand across various channels including print, web, and social media. Diana also helps to maintain THUMBTECHS' sponsorships with several non-profits in the Fort Worth area.
Business Manager
Melanie Cantwell has been with THUMBTECHS for 7 years. Her day to day responsibilities include customer invoicing, procurement of hardware and software, and the handling of domain purchasing. She also maintains the office budget, bookkeeping system, payroll, and processes accounts receivable and accounts payable. Often referred to as the "Mulit-tasking Office Ninja", Melanie can handle any task thrown her way.
